Robots.txt file relies on the search engine spiders which pages or links can or cannot be public. This file is added to the source URLs of most websites. Robots.txt files are mostly intended for managing the activities of good bots like web crawlers since bad bots aren't likely to follow the instructions. These bots "crawl" webpages and index the content so that it can show up in search engine results.

Some examples of a Robots.txt file:-

Disallow:/2022/09/about-us.html

Disallow:/2022/09/privacy-policy-effective-date-2022-09.html

Disallow: /2022/09/terms-and-conditions.html

Disallow: /2022/09/disclaimer.html

Disallow: /search

Sitemap:-

A website's important pages are included in an XML sitemap file so that Google can easily find and crawl them all. Moreover, it helps in the configuration of search engines. You want Google to index all of your site's main pages. However, sometimes pages are generated without internal links connecting to them, making it difficult to locate them. The identification of content can be boosted with a sitemap.

How does make Google search your Sitemap.xml?

If you search your XML sitemap in your Google Search Console account Google more quickly. Your sitemaps can be accessed in the "Sitemaps" section. If not, you may include it at the head of the page with your sitemap.

Including your sitemap makes it simpler to see whether Google has indexed every page on your site. We recommend further research if there is a great difference between a sitemap's "submitted" and "indexed" figures. Perhaps there is a problem stopping some pages from being indexed? You may also need more links to the content that has not yet been indexed.

Submitting of the blog in Google Search Console:-

First, you must go to your Blog and copy the URL of your blog.

Now go to the settings of your blog and click on setting then click on Google Search Console.

Make a Gmail account and search blogger.com and make an account.

Create a theme and Menu with a sub-menu and Description.

After this, all Google takes some time for your verification then creates a Robot.txt and Sitemap.

Describe a 404 Error Page:-

Describe a 404 error page. When a request results in the HTTP 404 internal responses, a web page defined as a 404 error page is shown. This value indicates that although the visitor was able to find the server, it could not find the exact destination.

How to find 404 Error:

1: Open any 404 page and click on the title tag.
2: Go to Behavior > Site Content > All Pages after logging your blog into Analytics.
3: Look for the title of the 404 page that you got in the initial step.
4: To examine all of the URLs that produce a 404 status code, click on the Title tag that was identified.
5: To show the Source and Medium of the visitors, add a second aspect.
6: Extract the sources and pages list.

Do you want to know 301 error;-

A 301 redirect shows that a web page has been moved completely from one site to another. The 301 portion refers to the forwarded page's HTTP status code.

For example in the cases, ahrefs.com/blog is moved from blog.ahrefs.com.

A 301 redirect tells the browser, "This page has relocated completely. We have moved it to this site and have no plans to relocate it back. The browser then answers, "Sure thing! I'll transfer the user there soon.

As a result, if you try to go to blog.ahrefs.com, nothing much will happen.
